Weekend Homework - Read Carefully.

Research Paper Warm Up:

To gear up for your final ENG 101/103 Paper, you will watch a 1-hour documentary via YouTube called Philosophy and the Matrix.  You will also read and discuss some particularly strong examples from past cluster students.

Here's the weekend assignment:

Part 1)
Watch the documentary. Take notes which you will be able to use on a quiz on Monday. Don't worry if you don't understand it all. Do your best.

Part 2)
Print and read these 2 sample student papers assigned to you. Be prepared to discuss the way it uses the film and outside research in class on Monday.

 Sample A: Gregory Smith's "Can You Handle The Truth?: The Matrix and Plato’s Allegory of the Cave." 

Sample B: Donnie Jone's "The Red Truth Prevails."
